TIPS

Thank you for your interest in FLUTOGRAPHY.  Please find below some tips and general information to help make your photo session day be a wonderful experience:

  1. Wear clothing that is comfortable and not distracting.  Please see the clothing tips section below for more specific tips.
  2. Try not to be rushed.  We will be able to get more photos and have a more relaxing experience if you don't have anywhere to be for a few hours. Please also be patient as I am always learning new things.
  3. Don't be afraid to tell me your ideas. I want you to be happy with your photos! I am always open to new location suggestions or specific props you would like to use.
  4. The best time to take photos are in the early morning and evening when the sun is not so harsh.  Overcast days are perfect.  If we have an outdoor session booked and the weather becomes unbearable we can always re-book or move to an indoor location.  Some great photos can be taken in your own environment.
  5. Have fun!  I love candid photography. Sometimes you will catch me taking photos of these candid moments - just go with it! I love that moment when people stop thinking about how they will look or how the camera is in their face. Everything just relaxes and a great moment is captured.

Clothing:
Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in and reflects who you are. It is always a good idea to wear clothing that is not distracting (busy prints) as the focus should be on yourself. You may bring as many clothing changes as you would like, but please be aware that when on location there may not be a designated change area.  Although I try my best, sometimes my clients do get a little dirty.

Pets:
Pets are always welcome!  Please make sure you have a leash/carrier for the times when they are not involved in photos.

Props:
Please bring any props that would add a personal touch to your photos. If you are looking for anything specific, please let me know before hand and I will do my best to come up with a prop.
